You Got This!

Story image

I am not a stroke Victim. I refuse to be in that mind set. Especially since my behavior with cocaine and alcohol caused this to happen to me. I can't and won't accept the handicaps this has brought me with speech and mobility. I stay positive in this recovery and use this event to help others recover if possible by being in their corner and setting an example instead of being an example.  Read a newspaper out loud to yourself and others to help you gain back your speech. It may sound weird and will be frustrating at first but....YOU GOT THIS!!!

Believe in that amazing person and soul that you are. No stroke is alike and the effects can be devastating.  Baby steps will become steps. One Day at a time. One word at a time. One step at a time. The stroke actually made me realize I needed to do what my purpose in life was. I finally, after almost 50 times around the sun, specialize in people just like us.  I started the training to be a  Life Coach and specialize in relationships and people just like us! YOU GOT THIS!!!
