My Loved one

Hi everyone: My name is Nadiuska Rodriguez. My ex-husband suffered a severe hemorrhagic stroke on Monday, September 19th, 2016. His name is Nelson Baez Munoz and he is only 40 years old. Even though we are not together anymore, we always cared for each other, he is just a wonderful human being. His Hemorrhage was caused by a very bad hypertension that apparently he never treated, and it's located in the brain stem, which is a very delicate area of the brain that apparently can't be touched. Our family is very lost and confused because this is something that we never thought it will happen to us, and doctors had been very negative and hopeless since he arrived at the hospital. Doctors keep saying there is not much to do and he might not be able to wake up from his coma, but he has reacted from stimulus, opened his eyes and squeezed his mother hand once. We feel he is fighting for his life, and I don't see why should we stop fighting for him. I join this page because we need something , maybe some guidence, hope, advice, I don't know what it is, but we are not ready to let him go! PLEASE! from the bottom of our hearts we need help

    nadiuskita,
Thank you. Today he is getting a tracheotomy to avoid infections on the respiratory tract. They have a hard time controlling his temperature, but he opened his eyes yesterday for a little while. Doctors make us feel that this is not an advancement, but I think it is. Any thoughts anyone?
