my condition

I am a 65 year old male.  Had a stent put in 1 yr ago.  This has solved the problem of not being able to run or ride my bike as I can do this things easily for an hour or more.   I do have some strange things that happen which seem to be related to my food consumption.  If I overindulge in sweets my heart beats very, very irregularly.  I also have to urinate very frequently with copious volumes.  This can go on for from 2 to 6 hours.   Has anyone else heard of this??

    mingo1,
I have the exact same problem, especially eating sweets! I have asked several doctors and they shrug their shoulders. Guess I just have to avoid them. However, some foods produce the same feeling. Usually foods with high sugar content. Does any one have answers for us?

    AHAASAKatie,
I am also super sugar sensitive and very curious about what your doctor says about sugar and the irregular heart beat?

    KKamryn15,
My doctor had the same response as did Mingo's... the shoulder shrug. The heart specialists in Victoria, B.C. did a super job on fixing the 95% blockage that I had but none of the medical people have not been too good at telling me why I had the problem in the first place and what to do to prevent it from happening again. I have done a lot of research on line and have found very interesting info on mega Vitamin C and the benefits of Vitamin K2.
