Story image

My story is on behalf of my husband. You never want to be in that predicament of your spouse complaining about chest pains. You will not be able to sleep that night without being woken up and checking if he's ok. The next day I called our PCP and made an appointment. They checked his vitals and got blood work tests. Luckily we caught something in it's infancy and was balanced by medication. He was showing signs of congested heart. With proper diet and medical care he's back to being normal again.

    AHAASAKatie,

Thank you for sharing this! I know it must have been hard for you both. Do you need anything at this time? Would information about Heart Failure be helpful? Please know that we are always here for you. Best Katie

    yarn007,

Glad to hear your husband is back to normal.   Sometimes we forget how wonderful normal can be.   Don't forget to keep all the follow up appointments and to take all your medications as prescribed.   When you have a long term issue those two items can be hard to do.

    Best wishes!
