Could leakage of spinal fluid cause further brain damage?

I had a stroke some time in the last six months, actually 4 micro strokes and 1 small stroke in the cerebellum.  They dont know when precisely.
My TIA , which was missed, was 4 December 2015, I am pretty sure.
The MRI discovering the strokes/scars was only done on 2 June 2016. I had a very painfull lumbral punction/spinal tap on 3 June, with leaking of the spinal fluid for a few days as a result. Could this be the cause of my sight problems?
I have had problems focusing with my eyes since midJune 2016, which is strange cos I have not had any further strokes since the MRI on 2 June which was confirmed by a second MRi at the end of June. Anyone know why the delayed reaction with my eyesight? The eyes themselves are healthy by the way, it's the brain damage.
