Conjunctive Heart Failure - How Is It Treated?

My husband has just been diagnosed with conjunctive heart failure, or specificially "heart failure with preserved ejection fraction" (HFpEF).  Never having heard of "conjunctive" heart failure, I was surprised to find out that it is different from "congestive" heart failure.  But it is hard to find out what it is and how to treat it.   I found one article that said maybe medicines are useful, maybe exercise is useful, and maybe treatment for sleap apnea is useful.  But the researchers say, more research is needed.  I am interested in learning more.)

    rozmataz79,
You should ask your doctor for more information. It is close to malpractice when doctors make a diagnosis and don't point patients in a direction where they have information - they just think we can find answers for ourselves - which can be dangerous. Make an appointment and say you need a consultation regards your husbands diagnosis.
