A Miracle Made Possible By a Comedy of Errors

Story image

I am 70 years of age now. I had been diagnosed with asthma in the 1990's by several pulmonologists ans many General Practioners. The idea that this was the raeson fort my breathing issues took on a life of its own, as I gamely tried to abstain from the asthma meds in favor of wholistic herbs and diet which worked modestly at best. This went on for over 20 years, as more doctors, pulmonologists, and even a Park Avenue cardiologist (who pronounced me clear for hip replacement after suffering 6 hours of every test) told me it was asthma and that my EKG's were a bit skewed but just particular to my physiology. I ad an ubknown  mild heart attack in June, 2018 and again in August 2018, The next day I felt lousy and drove to a walk in clinic, had an EKG, and they directed me to the Emergency Room which was followeed by a quadruple bypass due to 80% to 90% clogs. Afterward, following hard work, diet modification and excercise, I am in better shape at 70 than I was at 50 years of age. There was no asthma. But I'm gratefull for the health and energy I now have. Mine is not an unusual story. Thanks for reading on.
