We all do our part.
There are many survivors such as myself who know how fortunate we have been by not only surviving our traumatic event but doing so with a particular skill set intact and believe that this is so we can assist others experiencing what we have gone through. That is the purpose of this support network. By providing this support we receive more than we give. Every participant in this network has something to offer to the rest of us
I wish to thank network participant Nectari of Richmond VA for the encouragement I have been provided

I cold not agree more with you. FIrst, I'm grateful to Katie and the AHA for the AHA SN resource. My days would have been so much darker without all the shoulders and shared moments we've all had together.

Thank you so much for your very kind words! Means a lot! I also want to thank the network at large. I have previously expressed the true value in not only what it means to those in need, but also what it has meant to me personally. I have found that reading what people have posted and responding to posts leaves me with a feeling of true comfort! I come to realize that so many people are experiencing exactly what I have been through and it enforces that I am not alone. Together we can get through the difficulties each us struggle with! The network is a very positive and encouraging environment. Katie and everyone else at AHA deserve high praise!
