I am a disabled, Cervical Spine & Brain Stroke Injured Person

I got brain stroke due to sudden fall down on floor couple of years back. My Neurologist told me that I got lucunar Infrsct in the left basal Ganglia region with blood claut & atrophy around my brain as per attached CT Scan report.

Also, I am disabled, Cervical Spine & Lumber injured person as my Cervical Spine & Lumber two disks are compressed.

    I'm so glad you found this site. Please know that we're all here for you! 

    My stroke also affected the basal ganglia region. What I've found is that my emotions have changed a lot because of that. Basal ganglia damage, from what I've seen online, can leave a person apathetic. I definitely don't care about things like I used to. I actually went to counseling to deal with that, because I'm a different person than I was a year ago before my stroke. Now, I'm comfortable with the emotional changes. I don't worry or overthink or stress out. That's a win for me!
