Is there any hope for me?
I had a hemorragic stroke in 2013. Since then, I have lost alot like my balance, and talking etc. Can I get anything back with rehab?

Good morning. I am so sorry you have to manage this. I can share the great post-stroke exercise video series with you. I can also offer information about Stroke Rehab. However, I do think the first action you take is a conversation with your neurologist to determine what is safe for you and what are realistic expectations for recovery.
Please let us know how things go and know we are here to cheer you on. Best Katie

Hi. I am a caregiver for my husband Jim. He had a hemorrogic stroke 12 years ago. He went to numerous therapies but has never really been able to get back the ability to have a conversation. He received an interathecal Baclafen pump to assist with his spacisisty so he can walk. It is a long road but it's worth it to persue rehab and physical therapy. Jim was 50 when the stroke happen. Believe it or not he was playing basketball when it occurred.I hope this helps you in your journey to recovery.

Never let a human being take away your dreams. Always look for resources and never give up on your recovery.
