Stroke survivors needed for online survey
Do you find online stroke networks and forums valuable? Have online communities of stroke survivors offered you help following your stroke?
I am a researcher from the University of Nottingham (UK) looking for stroke survivors who are willing to complete a short online survey. I am interested in the possible benefits of online support communities such as this network. Can they provide stroke survivors with the same sort of help as face-to-face support groups? To find out, we hope to hear from as many stroke and T.I.A. survivors as possible; even if you only read the posts, we would like to hear from you.
The survey is quite brief, we estimate about 5-10 minutes to complete. Most questions offer multiple-choice answers, and you can provide as little health information as you choose. Alternatively, you also have the option to write more about your experiences of online stroke communities, if you want. All responses will be kept strictly confidential; the survey doesn't ask for any identifiable information.
If you are happy to take part or wish to read more about the research, please follow the link below. You will find many key questions answered via the link; alternatively, feel free to contact me here or via my email address below.
The survey will remain open until the 31st July 2019.
Your help is appreciated. Please feel free to forward this link to other stroke survivors and online stroke communities.
