New to PAD
I have been getting cramps and Restless Leg Syndrome at night and weird feeling in feet keeping me awake at night As my blood pressure is normal and I am not a diabetic and eat super healthy and don't smoke My doctor didn't think of testing for P A D until a few weeks ago and I have blockages of 60% in both legs so am waiting for an appointment at a Vascular clinic so I am in shock and trying not to freak out but with lack of sleep and stressing over the diagnosis it's a losing battle and difficult to cope with everyday activities I would appreciate if anyone can give me some helpful hints to deal with this condition I do Yoga and walk every day but still have restless nights and am now taking sleeping medication which I don't want to get addicted too. I am 80 years old and live alone but have lots of supportive friends and family .
I was curious whether 60% blockage is serious? Can anyone recommend a device to increase circulation in feet and legs . There is so many out there to choose from - vibrators Acuppresure mats etc

Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience with the community. I can imagine this must be very frustrating for you and I am sorry you are experiencing these symptoms. As you say, the lack of sleep must make it even more stressful. Unfortunately, I am not a medical professional so I can't answer your specific questions. Have you asked your healthcare provider your questions? They would be the best source of information as they know your full history.
In the meantime, here are some resources I can share with you from the AHA website on PAD that may be helpful for you:
It sounds like you have a good support network of friends and family, which is great! Please keep us updated on how you are feeling.

This post is directed at fellow sufferers of PAD in legs (see my previous post) I can put up with claudication in legs while walking but my main problem is night cramps that keep me awake most of the night I cannot see anyone on the forum that has night cramp problems and would love to share their experience and how they cope Looking forward to someone replying to my post 🙏
I never seem to get replies in forums 😢 Would be great if someone replied - even it is just to say Happy New Year
