life is unpredictable

On March of this year I went down a hill with my dog. After a lot of tests they found that I had a right tibia plateau fracture and broke bones in my left hand. They wanted to do emergency surgery. But, because of my aortic stenosis and all that valve problems as well as high blood pressure, they needed cardiology clearance. They were not sure my heart was strong enough. It took 2 days for me to be cleared, and cardiologist had to be in the room. Kinda scary knowing your heart is that bad that emergency surgery was put on hold. has anyone every experienced this?

    Hello there,

Thank you for joining the Support Network and sharing your experience. We hope you find a sense of community and support here in addition to some advice from others who have been through this. As you wait for others to respond, I can share some resources on Mental Health and Well-being and Aortic Stenosis.

Please keep us updated on how you are doing!

    Best wishes,
