Life after stents
I am 52 years old. A lot of my family have passed away from heart disease.
I was having issues with dizzy spells. It turned out that I had SVT and had procedure to get rid of. Wasn't worried about. Glad I got it done. Couple weeks later I had a weird feeling in chest and went to emergency. Turns out I was on verge of heart attack. I had stents put in. My question is I'm in construction. Would anyone have input if I will be able to work in my profession again. It is a very physical job. Any info would help.

Thank you for reaching out to the Support Network and for sharing your story. I am sorry you are experiencing this conflict between your diagnosis and your line of work. Unfortunately, I am not a medical professional, but I can recommend to you some resources like this one about Recovery and Healthy Living Goals for Heart Valve Patients, or this one from AHA's Heart Valve Ambassadors.
Please keep us updated on how you are feeling!
