Insurance for Open Heart Surgery

Hi all! A question I'm genuinely curious to know about - is there any health insurance in the US that would cover open heart surgery with no cost at all to the patient? Thanks!

    Good morning,

Thank you for reaching out to the support network - we're glad you're here. Health insurance in the United States is typically either tied to your workplace or provided by the government. Depending on your plan, I would encourage you to reach out to your provider to see what is covered by insurance, and how much. On the Heart.org home page, you can also try exploring the In Your Community tab on the right side of the screen to find providers or doctors in your area who might know more.

Thanks again for reaching out. Please keep us updated!

    Best wishes,
