RIP12 How are you?
It's been such a long time since we have heard from you. I just wanted to check-in. Best Katie

I guess first I should apologize for deleting my last post without an explanation. It wasn't because what anyone said ar didn't say, it was that I realized I was asking for something there as no answer for.
I am doing as weel as can be expected. Right now I am out of stage 5 HF but I still bounce between stage 3 and 4 HF and have found my mitral valve leaking. The most aggrivating part of all this is the 100 mg of lasix I have to take daily.
My doctors have told me that my chance for a second tranplant is slim to none due to the fact that I have yet to be declaired cancer free and that the cut off age is 70. Since I am a heart recipient I am not a canidate for a LVAD to help my heart funtion.
I am just taking it one day at a time and glad each day I wake up at home. I haven't posted before because I am not looking for any pitty. I have tried to comment to a few posts but just couldn't find the right words.
Thanks for asking, Rip

I know it has been a while but I don't really know what to say. Other than a few more complications and tring to live in a world with covid, things haven't changed for me much. I do what my body will let me and try to stay as safe as I can, living on a farm helps in some ways and inconvienient in others.
I have been trying to keep up with posts but found it hard to find the right words to compliment what had already been said.
Hope you are doing well, Bob

Thank you so much for responding! I think all of us are just trying to get through COVID-19 at this point. Right now, Jacksonville, Fl (where I live) has been deemeed a hot spot for COVID and its 100 degrees outside. It seems like we are trapped in a hot box of distress sometimes. My daughters encouraged me to get an above ground pool which has helped keep us sane and fairly occupied on nights when it just seems like this is all just too much.
Thank you again for checking in! And please respond as you feel able. We love to hear your voice on the site.
