what to do if the medicine manufacturer changes and your pills look different, color shape etc.
I have the hardest time wondering whymy pills manufacturers keep changing at Walgreens especially my Coumadin, Carvedilol and Hydrazaline

Good morning. I can relate to that frustration. I have had a few shocks when my pills were changed too, and I worried I had been given the right medications. While this won't stop the problem, you can always 2x check with your pharmacist to make sure your prescription is correct. Best Katie

I agree with Katie. This happened to me once but I knew I was switching to a generic drug. Even still, I asked my pharmacist about it. Additionally, my blood work after the switch shows that the meds are still working.

I know at my Walgreens that they are able to put in the computer the brand of pill that I would like to have, and it states to call me if they are out of that brand. I know there are a lot of generic manufacturers that Walgreens uses for medication like Carvedilol etc.
