What a difference sleep makes
I'm not a New Year's Resolution person, but decided that January is as good a time as any to make 2 changes in my lifestyle: get less sodium and more sleep. The sodium thing is a struggle - I'm not the salt fiend my hypertensive mother was, but I do like things salty. So, an ongoing battle. But the sleep thing has been amazing. Instead of going to bed at 9:00 - 9:30 pm, I go to bed at 8:30 - 9:00 pm, and when I wake in the morning I feel more rested and less anxious. No lying there feeling palpitations give my day a bad start. The truly amazing thing is that during the day, my symptoms are less severe and less frequent. Sometimes I can get through 30+ minutes of an exercise class without having to stop and catch my breath and wait for my heart to calm down. So I feel like I (+/or God) is running my life, not my disobedient heart. I sure hope this lasts, like, forever.

Don't know if it wil last forever but you're certainly on the right track. If it's working for you, then it's a good approach. I would have a hard time going to bed that early as I typically am up until 11 or later. Keep up the exercise. Eventually you'll get through those 30 minutes routinely without stopping!
