I went into the hospital on January 7th with aches & chest pains & 34 weeks pregnant.. found out I had Covid & did an Echo which revealed I had congestive heart failure and EF of 40% .. had to give birth at 35 weeks & after giving birth on January 16th I was discharged on January 17th with no follow up instructions or any follow up plan. After falling ill & going back to the ER & another echo it shows my EF had dropped to now 15-20% but a specific number shows LV EF of 10%.. this is such scary scary situation with having a now 3 week old baby. I've been put on ENTRESTO & CARVEDILOL just recently. I'm here for so much support

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Support Network. I am so sorry you are going through this. A new diagnosis can be a frightening experience, but you should know this: you are not alone. Unfortunately, I am not a medical professional, but I'd encourage you to visit this resource on the AHA website about Living with Heart Failure if you haven't already.
Please keep us updated on how you are doing.
