Just a Little Exercise Can Lower Heart Disease Risk.

FYI...

Just a Little Exercise Can Lower Heart Disease Risk.
An analysis of a decade of data concerning over 22,000 adults found that engaging in any level of regular physical activity can reduce the risk for cardiovascular disease in overweight and obese individuals by up to 47%.

Good comment! I have been struggling with finding ways to excersise with the horrible Florida heat. My girls and I bought a small above ground pool right at the start of our "stay at home" order and its been my saving grace. Its only 16 feet across and 5 feet deep- but I have swam more tiny laps in that pool at night than I can count.

How is everyone else managing to stay active? Best Katie

    Hi Katie,

Good idea expanding this into a conversation. Staying active has certainly been a challenge during the pandemic. I have found a mix of different activities works best. I've probably done more brisk walks more than anything else. But I've continued with early morning runs, some weight training and biking which is probably the one activity I enjoy most. I've come to realize that the quality of workouts is not as important as just making sure to continue to do them regardless of how much I may have to push myself. It's so important to keep the body moving!
