Heart Transplant list
Good afternoon everyone. I am new to this site, so please bear with me.
I had two heart attacks back in December of 2001. In 2005, I had my ICD placed and have been shocked several different times. My heart condition has got to the point that I was placed on the transplant list back a few months ago. So now it is a waiting game. I just hope and pray my time does does not run out before I can have the transplant done. I have four kids ( 24,21,16, and 13 and a 1 month old granddaugther to live for.
Anyone wish to talk, feel free to messege me.

Welcome to this group! I just wanted you to know that you are not alone, and I hope you can find some comfort here reading other member's stories that may be similar to yours. I am fairly new here myself, and I come here almost daily to read what others are going through, or have gone through. This place is full of amazing survivors!
I wish you all the best,

I am thinking of you during this waiting period. I know it's difficult but have faith that our technology will be most beneficial in your continued treatment. I once met someone who was also on a waiting list and his heart was continuing to "pump" with an ingenious device that kept blood flowing with the aid of an implanted turbine. The result was that he had no pulse since it was a continuous flow. He seemed to marvel about that. It was powered by an external battery pack strapped to his waist. Being a mechanical design engineer, I was impressed as was he. I share this with you because the technological advancements seem to be endless always giving us cause for optimism.
I wish you all the best!
