Feelin' Poorly

3 nights ago, my BP devices read 84/54  pulse 70.  Felt short of breath ---- called EMS.  They arrived and their devices showed 95/65.  Oxygen number was 97%  - they saw no need for an ER run, so I stayed home. EMS folks attributed my feeling to anxiety.  Really?  Anxiety can affect one physically?  Feeling' tired and weary again today - diffent BP device shows 96/64. Oxygen @ 97%. Tomorrow I have a visit with my pacemaker device nurse and the EP who replaced my PM last Jan.  He's wanting to do a pacemaker optimization - hope he can help!!

    Dave,

As far as I know, anxiety can lead to stress which is obviously unhealthy. After my own event, I was strongly encouraged to reduce the stress in my life. Glad to hear your PM device is getting attention. It can only lead to improvements. Consider yourself fortunate for the care!

    Wishing you well!

    Dave,

Oh man. Anxiety. He's been my "buddy" for 4+ years now since my HA. I have a whole arsenal of tools I use to keep that boy down too. Sometimes it works, sometimes not so much.

Do what you can. Be good to yourself. Learn something new from each time it confronts you.

    Good luck,

    Jeff

    Dave,

I was wondering how your appointment went?

Were they able to help? Alleviate any of your fears?

    How are you feeling since?

IT's a Great Day to Be Alive...
