Another Day Of Wonder

2,610,452,973 -- That is two billion-six hundred and ten million, four hundred-fifty two thousand, nine hundred and seventy three cycles in 65 years.  Rather a remarkable number.  Few human made machines can boast of that count. Associated with love for thousands of years, about the size of your fist. It can make some into "heroes" or be broken by love.  It weighs less than 1 pound.  It may house the human "soul" or be very dark in some.  It can synchronize it's beat with a lover in 3 minutes and pound with pride in a uniform.  Only five percent of her work is returned for her functioning.  Squeeze a tennis ball tightly that’s how much work (about 2.5 watts) is required for a beating pump.

Another day of miracles.

Sometimes we need to take a step back and appreciate what we have!
