Cardiomyopathy & LBBB
I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and a LBBB almost a year ago. Obviously it was shocking and scary to find this out. I had many tests taken to determine the best route to take. I’ve been taking meds ever since. I recently (about 10 days ago) had a pacemaker procedure. I’m hopeful for a bright future but I can’t stop thinking about this & worrying.

Hello, I'm so sorry to hear you are having a difficult time. I want to share some resources on Living With Your Pacemaker that you may find useful as you adjust to life after the pacemaker procedure. I'd also like to share some resources on Cardiomyopathy and Conduction Disorders such as left bundle branch block. Please remember you are not alone and the Support Network is rooting for you!

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. I’m feeling better (physically) every day. I started going on daily walks a few days ago, and that has helped. It will be 4 weeks this Wednesday since my pacemaker surgery.

Hi. I understand. I was diagnosed with dcm and chf last August. I am 48. I sometimes worry all day and night. I just try and do what I can on my end and leave the rest to the Professionals. I’m still shocked at times about my situation but if I focus on what I am told to do it seems to give me a bit of strength. Please take care.
