PVC's & PAC's +Dental Issues, Pregnancy, Miscarriage, Covid
I'm a 33 female who has a history of being active and no major health issues. 2020 and 2021 has been a rough year for me healthwise though.
In November 2020 I got my wisdom teeth out and ended up getting covid right after. I then needed some additional dental work as a result of the wisdom tooth extraction. Shortly after, I started getting really alarming heart palpitations which I later learned were as a result of isolated PVC's and PAC's. Despite my GP's insistence that these were likely benign, I took it upon myself to see an electrophysiologist. The EP did a 30 day loop monitor and an echo. The echo came back normal but I did have a high LVEF of 79. They said this wasn't something they were worried about and likely not the cause of the ectopic beats. The monitor indicated again that I had isolated ectopic beats, around 2%.
Jump to this past April/May I suffered a miscarriage with my second baby. The emotional toll of that event and my anxiety put me in pretty bad place where i'm constantly worried about my health. The constant palpitations really elevate my anxiety levels since I am afraid these caused the miscarriage or that there is some other issue that may be underlying. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. My instinct is that the palps started as a result of covid and perhaps the dental anesthetics. Any insight?

Thank you for joining the Support Network and sharing your story with everyone. I am sorry to hear that the past couple of years haven't been going very well for you healthwise. Understandably, going through a miscarriage is a very emotional experience and it is clear why you are trying to get a better understanding of your medical irregularities. While you wait for others to reply, I can offer you this resource on various Heart Rhythm Disorders and this one on PACs and PVCs.
I hope that you get to the bottom of what has been causing these issues and keep us updated.
