PVCs and Atrial/Sinus Tachycardia
Hi everyone! My name is Michelle from Anchorage, Alaska. I was diagnosed with PVCs 3 years ago. This year I experienced random events of my heartrate jumping up to 130s-150s at rest. I went to the ER and of course all my labs and EKG were normal. I followed up with my cardiologist-- echocardiogram was normal and then met an electrophysiologist. My EP started me on Propranolol 20mg twice daily and it has helped out significantly. I would like to know if anyone has experienced a plugged sensation or ringing in one ear followed by a jolt in their chest or "strong PVC". I've complained to my cardiologist and EP about this and they have not heard of it being associated with PVCs. It happens randomly and I notice it occurs more when I'm stressed or anxious.

Good morning, I am so sorry you are having to manage this! Given that both your EP and cardiologist are not seeing a connection between tinnitus (ringing in the ear) and the medical, I searched tinnitus and stress and found this article that might be worth a read, " Tinnitus and Stress| British Tinnitus Association." At the very least it could help provide new questions for you to ask your GP and possibly see an ENT specialist.
