Left bundle branch block
Hello, I am new here. I was just diagnosed with left bundle branch block and told that I need to be on beta blockers he said the left side of my heart isn't pumping like it should and I am scared I already have low blood pressure so I don't know how this will work he side that when I was wearing the 7 day heart monitor that one day my heart was beating to fast even though I was exercising. I am wondering if anyone else has this?

I am so sorry that you are having to experience this! I can share what we have on your condition: Conduction Disorders: Left Bundle Block to see if that helps. I have also found my pharmacist to be a great source of information. Have you considered asking him or her?
Please let us know how you are doing as the week progresses. Best Katie

Hi Kelly - I'm so sorry you are having heart problems. I know how scary it can be. I also have low blood pressure and I'm on beta blockers. At first, it caused my pressure to drop and I had to be careful with dizziness, but over time my body has adjusted and I can tolerate them better. I would just say to make sure you have a good doctor you can communicate with. He may need to make adjustments to your medication, but hopefully and with time you can find something that works for you. Also, with your heart rate issue you may have to have an ICD implant. I got mine last Octobor and it wasn't a bad procedure, just a little sore where it's place for a while, but now I hardly notice it. It's a great insurance policy if your heart rate gets too out of control it will keep you alive! Don't let the fear over take you. There are awesome medications and procedures these days that help us living with heart issues live a great and long life!
Take care and keep us updating as to how things are going with you.
