I second Mike Humphrey...whole food, plant based diet! Walk!!! The weight falls off and you will feel amazing! It's a difficult transition, but after 2 weeks, all the sugar and junk food cravings disappear. I crave fruit and veggies! But you HAVE to move. Walking is the best exercise you can do following a cardiac arrest or heart attack. Get a fitbit and walk. You are alive after this event for a reason, embrace your life you've been given and God bless you!

The Mediterranean diet is very good and tasty with lots of heart healthy foods. Many great vegetarian recipes online. Years ago I got a Soda Stream for Christmas. Best gift I ever got .. I love carbonation so Soda Stream gives me sparkling water with out the trappings of colas etc. It also saves you carrying heavy bottles home and saves the environment not using plastic or glass bottles . Highly recommend it if you loved Soda .
