Hi, I am a stroke survivor and atrial fib patient. I am also having a left atrial size of > 5 cm with other parameters of echocardiography normal with moderate regurgitations.
Now if i would perform exercise as a part of my stroke rehabilitation, I get basal rales and suffer with cough.
How can I overcome this situation as I need to perform rehabilitation ex but the heart condition prevents it. Any similar patients and any ideas for this situation is welcome.

Good morning, I am so sorry that you are having to manage this! In this situation, I think your doctor may be the best person to provide instruction. Have you been able to have that conversation yet? Thanks Katie
