Afib digest and Website
While things seem to be settling down with the website, I do have an lingering issue. Whenever I scroll through the daily digest and find a post that I want to read, I click on "more," which then takes me to the website. However, I then have to sign-on to the website and hunt for the digest post that interested me. Isn't there someway to click on the digest post "more," go to the webite and once signed on be immediately taken to the post of interest?

Good monring, thank you for asking this question. If you make sure that you are signed in to the site before you click on "read more" you will be taken direclty to the converstion you want to read. Please let me know if that works for you. Best Katie

The Daily and Weekly Digest have been redesigned (will show each thread together with posts sorted from oldest to newest) and approved and will be reconstructed soon. This morning, on the vendor call, I aim to confirm what functionality and behavior will happen when you click on Read More in the new design so that we can get this problem solved.
Currently, when you log in, it takes you automatically to Your Dashboard rather than continuing to the page you clicked to go to. That drives me NUTS! I have to go back to the Digest and click the same link again. (Or sign in before opening the digest, which also drives me nuts as it is illogical.)
Yesterday, I decided to experiment and found a shortcut to the scenario above. After clicking Read More and logging in, if you click the browser back button, you go back to that post and are still logged in. (That is not normal website behavior, but it works.)
Thanks for your continued patience. I get frustrated by how long things take, but everything has to have accessibility approvals before it can be implemented. Please bear with us in getting these things fixed.

Katie and Melaie thanks for the quick reply. For me, the first order of the day is to read my mail. So to first sign-in the AHA website so I can read Afib posts is not the way to do things. There has to be an easier way.

I feel the same way - having to go sign in first is an extra step that I don't want to have to take, which is why I found the workaround yesterday that I mentioned above.
I am endeavoring to get that fixed, and will be bringing it up on the vendor call this morning. My hope is that once you click login, it takes you to the page you were headed to rather than hijacking you and taking you to the Dashboard.

I found the back button on the browser works like Mellanie describes some time back. The interesting thing is that after I did that a few times, I found that I was being taken to the post that I wanted whether or not I was logged in. I just couldn't add comments without logging in. Of course when I log in it still takes me to the Dashboard and I have to hit the back button to get back to the post I was wanting to comment on (like this one).
