Confirm RX Monitor

Hi,

Has anyone had experience with the Confirm RX Insertable Cardiac Monitor?

Looks interesting and seems much more accurate that most of the other patient accessible stuff out there. Sends info to phone app via Bluetooth.

Thanks,

Tony

Tony, I have one.  Was inserted on my birthday... my freaken' 50th.  I guess that is the Navy's birthday present.  Insertion is very easy and takes about 20 min.  You will only feel the one prick of the lidocaine and then after that, you will not feel anything.  Recovery is about two weeks till the wound closes but I went back to work after that the insertion... you know you don't get a lot of time off.  They just shove the thing in there.  The only weird thing is that they drape the work site and you can't see anything which I guess that is intentional.  You hear them working, but that is about it.  Tell the nurses to film it.  The pix are pretty cool.  I also took a double dose of valium before so I didn't care a whole lot what was happening.  You just need to keep your phone at your bedside when you sleep, and it will pulse the monitor and upload the info to your doc.  Pretty simple.  Here's my original post about it:
