Here is my current assortment of socks.  Does anyone know what the lime green ones indicate?  I am going to take a pair with me next hospital trip. Any ideas on what to use them for?  I already have slippers and they sure don’t fit to wear with shoes. Wonder how many pairs the Goodwill gets.

The yellow indicate fall risk. The blue no fall risk. Spencer says red means psychotic. You might mix em up a bit. Blue on one foot.  Red on the other. See what happens.

Well, when I end up with a pair of hospital socks that fit (which is unusual)....although they are not  very attractive, I wear them in cold weather when we have the thermostat down night in bed to keep my feet warm. Then when I make my usual trip to the bathroom during the night, the little grippers on the sole can keep me from slipping and falling.  However, I do imagine that GOODWILL and other charities get quite a lot of these socks donated to them.  Some people who need warm sox may be glad to get that is a good thing to do.  I have never been fortunate enough to have colored ones....always beige at my heart hospital.  I have collected quite a few over the years....souvenir of  unwanted hospital visits.
