Reading the Digest & Logging In
I'm wondering why when I read the posts (on my computer) that come in the Daily Digest the ends of the lines of the message are clipped off and finish on the next line? Kind of annoying. If I open each individual post, I get the complete lines of text without words clipped off.
Also today in order to do this post I had to log in TWICE and go through several screens as in the past. I wonder why I can't log in directly from the Digest by one or two clicks? It just remains "work" to write a post. I know Katie sent me a message to contact her to get some help but I haven't done that yet - I CAN log in, it's just not easy. I think the "problem" is just the way this website is set up. It's not quick to use!

HI, I really need more information from you in order to troubleshoot the login process. You should not have to log in two times. Please email me at SupportNetwork@heart.org so we can talk more. Thank you, Katie

Katie, I agree with Wiggles about the somewhat annoying nature of the clipped-off words in the Daily Digest.
In addition, today, the Digest had about 10 short items for stroke survivors, from AaronAvila, and almost nothing new. (1) I have not indicated interest in the Stroke Survivor area, so why does my Digest include them, and why were so many allowed? (2) Where should I be looking for the new posts in areas of my interest? This morning's Digest implies there were none. I can't believe that! So, where are they? Am I supposed to hunt through several other headings to find them each day?? I still long for the old system, where all new posts were there, complete, and I could just skim down and see what ones were of interest, without any of these "Read More" interruptions. I feel like I'm missing posts where I might be helped and/or be of help.

Judy and all,
Yesterday, we had a stroke survivor posting in the wrong forum, which unfortunately shut down all other communication in our afib forum. We have hopefully redirected him to the right forum now.
The Daily and Weekly Digests have been redesigned and approved, though I believe they must still go through accessibility testing (which can be time-consuming) before being declared final. Thus, I don't know how long it will take before we see those changes. But, all replies to a topic will be grouped together in the sequence that they were posted (you won't have to start at the bottom anymore). Each forum will be grouped together, and appear in the sequence they are on the dropdown menu. The spacing will be more efficient for reading on mobile devices (less white space). (It is challenging to make it work for such an array of different kinds of devices, including desktop machines with large monitors, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.)
Because the digests are a single process for our forum as well as the other 36 forums in the Support Network, those in the other forums will see a number of changes to make their digests more like what we are used to but we may not see everything revert back to what it looked like when were a standalone forum as all forums had to be considered in the redesign.
Just providing some context for why this is taking a while to do, and what was involved in doing it.

You mentioned that someone posted in the wrong forum. Where is the menu showing the different forums? It seems that everything comes up in Introduce yourself--I am unable to find a menu showing other forums.
