Premature Menopause & CV Disease
For us women: Today NEJM's "Journal Watch" email reports a few more highlights from the AHA Scientific Sessions. What I found interesting was what I have bolded below. (Unfortunately the full article requires subscription.) My surgical menopause began before I was 40. That would coincide with my earliest arrythmia symptoms. At 76, menopause continues to be my nemesis.
