COLD WEATHER DEFIB SHOCKS

iT HAS BEEN BELOW ZERO IN PITTSBURGH PA THE LAST FEW DAYS AND I HAVE RECEIVED SEVERAL SHOCKS FROM THE DEFIBRILLATOR IN ME. tHIS IS UNCOMFORTABLE.. CANT STAY INSIDE, CAUSE OF WORK. DRESSED IN LAYERS AND CANT WAIT FOR WARMER WEATHER. ANYONE ELSE GETTING THIS ?

    Tim,

    Do you have afib? I'm not sure that we have many (any?) here with afib and a defibrillator. You may find more answers in other heart forums here, such as the Cardiac Arrest forum.

    I've had defibrillator for 2 years now in January.  Nothing like that has happened to me although I do not work outside and I live on the eastern side of PA where it has been 15 below and wind chills of minus 30.   Did you contact doctors office and do a remote transmition and see why you got shocked?  I also have AFIB.  I have had one shock last July-called doc's office-thet had me do a remote transmition-got results back in an hour-heart had spiked and shocked back into rythem.
