Up in the Middle of the Night with Afib

To the member that post to see if anyone was awake, well yes.  I awoke or spent entire nights up with that AFib feeling.  I tried some scotch but that never seemed to help.  I would walk quite a bit around the neighborhood and that would seem to help.  I posted to this website  My AFib always came at night when the world was at rest, I was ways a little jealous those that could go to sleep and I was worried about my heart and feeling AFib.  My suggestion is to find some distracting activity.  You know when to go in. One time after a really bad night, I always drove myself into the ER but the wife talked me out of as she had had enough of the 'ER and there is nothing really they do.

Hope this helps.  So what is going on now?

I can relate to some of this, I too have woken at different times in the night with atrial tachycardia, it doesn’t last long but I’ve had it happen up to six times in a night, I was however lucky enough to fall back to sleep. It’s not a nice thing to have as you wake up tired the next day.
