Svt episode without high heart rate

I’m on beta blockers but still every now and then or rather in cycles experiencing episodes. My heart feels like it is thumping, even though it is not going fast I still feel like it’s flopping around, even though my Kardia says I’m in sinus rhythm. I get breathless, dizzy, nauseous, fatigued and when it all calms down I feel shaky. It can last from 20 mins to a couple of hours.

I definitely understand that issue. I go through that routine when least expected. Had one today. Rested for about 10 minutes and back to normal. Kardia tells me all is Ok.

I, too, get almost exactly the same symptoms.  I am suddenly overcome with fatigue, my heart pounding, but not rapid feel shaky and breathless or hyperventilating.  My Kardia says I'm in NSR also.  It will last maybe 15 -20 mins although the other night much longer.  Hard to know what it is.

I have checked my blood pressure and glucose levels during the events and they always show normal as well. So I have ruled those out as the cause.

Is it an episode trying to breakthrough without the fast HR ( because beta blocker is keeping it  slower) but I’m getting all the other symptoms of my SVT breaking through?

I am so sorry that you are having to experience this. What does your doctor say about the issue? Thanks Katie

I just feel I’m not getting the help I need,I’ve been unable to work because of severe on and off SOB and other symptoms that I find difficult to deal with. It’s truly getting me down.
