Post ablation stomach issues?
Well, I am 2 weeks post ablation and am feeling really great. No episodes, but even more interesting is that I am not experiencing the little spikes in HR when resting, or odd little heart movements that were not attributed to Afib.
However, new to me is when I eat I am feeling really full very quickly and get an incredible distended stomach, so much that my lower back hurts. Anyone else experience this? I suppose smaller meals is in order, any other tips?
I am taking an antacid 30 minutes before breakfast that was prescribed on discharge from the hospital.

depotdoug, February 8, 2021 8:23am ESTInteresting JudyKol, you are not taking any NSAID's are you. My stomach went crazy last summer/fall when i was taking too much of ibruprofen.

Glad you're doing OK. speaking for myself, I was prescribed antacids, but never needed them. And I never experienced stomach issues either. If it continues, check with your Doc. I had some asophagas discomfort, but it subsided after 10 days or so. But everyone is different. Hang in there! 🙂
