Heart / Low Ejection Fraction

What are ways that I can improve my heart ejection fraction.  Right now I am on meds.  Are there other ways/things I need to be doing?  I am eating healthy, working out and monitoring BP.

Thank you,

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to the MyAFibExperience community. I encourage you to continue interacting with others in this community and hear from them as they share support and advice. As you wait for others to respond, I can share some resources with you on Ejection Fraction and How Can I Improve my Low Ejection Fraction.

Lee, the resources given by the AHAModerator (in the preceding Reply) are useful -- I learned something from reading them!   But for others here to comment, it would be helpful to know more about your condition.  Are you in AFib?  Are you seeing an electrophysiologist (EP)?   Have you had any procedures (cardioversion; ablation)?  What meds are you taking?   When I was being treated for AFib (and heart failure), my EF was around 50, but over time it has risen to the mid-60s, which is considered to be a good level.  Where is your EF now?   Keep us posted!
