I wish to communicate with someone that is going thru CHF and Afib. I am 83, lot's of things changing and I just want to know if others may have some of these incidents and I can be sure all if OK. Doctors do now have experience and are unable to explain to me simple questions. I think someone going thru the same would help me to understand a bit more. I am blessed to really be doing great. just want to talk about what I am feeling.

Pegleg, my first question is always, Are you seeing an electrophysiologist (EP) about your AFib? They are the cardiologists whose specialty is AFib, and they should be able to help you with information and options. As for your wish to communicate, I can say that I am also 83, have CHF (chronic heart failure), and permanent AFib. Can you tell me/us more about what "incidents" and questions and particular feelings you have? How long have you been in AFib? I assume you are on a "blood thinner" -- do you take other meds for your heart? Let us know. Admittedly, no two experiences of AFib are identical, but it does indeed help to communicate with others who have it. All the best,
