NEW: Adult born with TOF

Hello everyone!! In 1981, my fraternal twin & I were born two months premature, with only me having Tetralogy of Fallot.

Thanks to my mother requesting a 2nd opinion,  Dr. Kirklin & Dr. Brunswick performed my Blalock Taussig Shunt on my 1st birthday-1982 and repair of TOF on my 2nd birthday-1983.

I am now about to turn 40 years old this June, and am so blessed to be on this site, writing this blog, with hopes of the assistance and care I did not think even existed. 

I look forward to all of this.
