Hello!
I am a 65 year old fairly active woman.I recently had a chest CT and echocardiogram to address some shortness of breath. Something I"ve been experiencing since having chemo 4 yrs ago.To my shock as I read my test results it appears I have a bicuspid aortic valve and my ascending aorta is enlarged to 4.4cm.My doctors don't seem alarmed by this. Just have to follow up with a ct scan in six months. Anyone have any input on this for me?
Thank you!
Debbie

Good morning, Thank you for letting us know what is happening in your world! I can imagine that finding out about this is a bit of a shock for sure. We do have a forum specifically for Heart Valve discussions. Unfortunately, I can't move your post, so I need to ask you to repost this in the Heart Valve forum. It is a very active group and I am sure you will receive some good responses.
Best Katie
