A little inspiration...
There is a facebook page called Heart to Heart dedicated to heart patient survivors. Recently the post below appeared and I found it highly inspirational! Hope you do too! Here it is...
Hello everyone... that's me, on the bass guitar in the white shirt with the British flag- I've endured and survived 4 open heart surgeries and a hip replacement...and I'm rockin it here in Vegas with kids half my age!! After all, I've got to show them how it's done... right? Look: I know it's different for every one of us. Music is in my blood. I'll be honest- tomorrow morning I will wake up and it'll take me an hour to get out of bed. I respect each and every one of our experiences with our disease. It's not easy- so, please, do your best and when you don't or can't, well, that's ok too. Blessings to all of you!

Thank you for sharing! What a reminder that there is nothing stopping us after OHS. Even though I’m “younger,” I’ve learned to listen to my body after heart surgery #4. I actually took a sick day from work today because I got knocked out by a nasty head cold. Usually I would drag myself in to work, but I decided that my body needs rest and it’s OK. The work will still be there tomorrrow.
