Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to the Patient Support Network. Unfortunately, I am not a medical professional, but I can share this resource with you about cardiac catheterization and next steps following the procedure. I hope you can connect with others here who have gone through a similar experience.
Please keep us updated on how you are feeling!
Best Wishes,

Your feelings exactly mimic what I was feeling after being told that three of the four main arteries going to my heart were severely blocked and that I have to consult with a surgeon. After being in denial about the proposed treatment, I was persuaded into having bypass surgery because as it was explained to me, the recovery and my life going forward would ultimately be healthier. I ended up with a quintuple bypass and I have never regretted getting it done. Once I reached full recovery, I was able to resume all the activities I had done prior to the procedure. I highly recommend cardiac rehab. It was an excellent experience both mentally and physically. The physical therapists were great in providing exercises which I continued after rehab ended and which I would also recommend doing. Please feel free to post any additional questions or concerns you may have.
I wish you all the best!
Jim
