Had a surprise at the Doctor's office

I recently went to my PC doctor for a Diabetes Check and had a surprise, it was 5.9. The first time it ever reached that number in 10 years. I have been in the 7.0 for so long. I was happy that it happened and I know it might be just for the moment. Been going through some things the past year or so. But coming back to the land of the living. So happy.

That is wonderful news keep up the good work! Thank you for sharing your beautiful number. My A1C was a 9.0 three years ago & at the time my weight was over 348lbs. 2 years later my weight dropped to 185lbs & A1C has been a 5.0. Been really down on myself cause my osteoarthritis in my knees flared up caused me to gain now my current weight is 224lbs however, my A1C is still 5.1 my pcp says I can shout from the rooftops I am cured of diabetes & let him know if I get extremely concerned with my weight. Congratulations we have a lot to celebrate!

Oh, Jenb74!   Well done with that weight loss.   I agree with what your doctor said.   Shout from those roof tops.   I will love to hear how you got your weight down.   I am 235 and have not been successful losing weight post heart attack.

Oh, how I love to hear about these beautiful a1c(s)!!!!!
