Moving Forward with Disabilities in Retirement

Curly, my husband, suffered from a major stroke

six years ago and was diagnosed with MS when

he was 23 years of age. Since his stroke, he has

been confined to a wheelchair. We both have

decided that this would not stop our lives but

enriched them. We now travel, attend family

functions out of state, cruise, vacation in many destinations all over the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

They have experienced how to work with the airlines when traveling with your motorized wheelchair. Lived and worked abroad for 3 years.

No challenge is too big.

    Good morning,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the support network. I am very glad to hear that you and your husband have such a great perspective and are able to travel together! We're rooting for you.

    Thank you,
