Coronary heart disease/heavy plaque in artery
Hi...I just had a Calcuim Scoring test and it was over 900! I have been on a statin for years for high colesteral and have been relativly living a normal healthy life. My blood work has been good with all the levels accept my LDL have been a little over the norm. My diet is mostly plant based, I exercise everyday and quit smoking 5 years ago. My cadiologist told me its all geneics since my Dad died at age 42 of a heart attack. I have a lot of stress in my life for years being a single mom doing every thing with little time off. NO emotional support from family at all all my life. I am sorry worried now and stressed I can barly function. Im so scared any advice?

I am so sorry that you are having to experience this! Finding a good therapist to help with anxiety management tips could be of benefit to you. Many of our members use yoga, exercise and meditation as well to help cope. Please know that you are not alone in this fight. Best Katie

I agree with Katie! It's important to do some things that will help you relax. Stress can be a contributor to heart disease so please do all that you can to help reduce it. Yoga, exercise and meditation are good tips!
Wishing you well!

Go all Plant Based Diet with no oils especially coconut! Give it a try for 1 or 2 months it works great if you loose the oils. Keep nuts and seeds to a minimum just a small spot in your hand a day will give you plenty enough fat Walnuts seem to be one of the best.
