We are looking for a caregiver of a heart failure patient to participate in a taped panel dicussion

Are you a caregiver of a heart failure patient who would like to participate in a pre-recorded panel discussion? The American Stroke Association is planning such discussion to premiere on Facebook in November to celebrate caregivers who support their loved ones, and make many sacrifices, but often forget to make time for themselves. The Facebook event will be a pre-recorded panel of caregivers (3), a health care professional and a host. Through an engaging conversation, caregivers will have an opportunity to share their experiences, and their self-care tips; while the health care professional will address the importance of self-care and caregiver burn out.

Planning, conversations and recording will all happen via Zoom. Here is a look at our timeline :
-    Call with all panelists – week of 11/02
-    Record the “event” – 11/10
-    FB premiere – 11/19

You have to have a computer and be comfortable to be on camera. If you are interested in sharing your story as a caregiver to be considered for this panel discussion, please reach out to Anna Taylor at anna.taylor@heart.org by 10/28. Please include email and phone number.
