Nursing student researching ways to improve daily management of CHF :)

Please help my research by answering some or all of the following questions. All answers and identity will be kept private. Thank you in advance!

Information about disease and relationship with healthcare provider: 

  1. When was the first time you heard about heart failure? 

  2. What information did they give you regarding the illness and how did you feel? 

  3. How is your relationship with a healthcare professional? 

  4. Do you feel well informed about heart failure? Which professional do you think helps you the most in this? 

  5. What recommendations do professionals give for the treatment of heart failure? 

  6. What are the main difficulties in following the therapeutic recommendations prescribed by primary care professionals? 

  7. What do you think the healthcare professional can do more in relation to heart failure? 

  8. How would you like your primary care professionals to help you? 

  9. Do you find something missing in the healthcare attention? 


Daily Life:

  1. Does your heart disease affect your daily life? In which sense? 

  2. What activities or strategies help you to live with heart failure in your daily life? 

  3. What activities recommended by healthcare professionals are easiest for you to follow? 

  4. Do you think you can do something to improve your illness? 


Social Support: 

  1. Do you think heart failure affects you in your family and social relationships? 

  2. In what sense has it affected you? 

  3. How important is social support for you? 

  4. What strategies do you use to try not to let this not affect you? 

  5. How do you feel about that?
