Caregiver for Muscular Dystrophy double bypass
My significant other has MD in his legs, had a double bypass and is home now. I am having trouble dealing with the stress, as I also have heart issues (ascending aorta aneurysm) so am trying to not lift, trying to keep my bp down. Its hard to do. Any suggestions.

As with any condition, you should consult your cardiologist before trying any suggestion but some things that could be particulalrly helpful are yoga and meditation. These would certainly help in reducing stress and BP. I haven't done any meditation but I do exercise regularly and have tried a little yoga in the process. For me, any form of exercise is relaxing especially when I'm doing it more for enjoyment such as walking and bike riding.
Good luck!
